STEP Benelux has announced details of a Lunch & Learn event being held on Thursday 20 October 2016 at 12:00 at the Cercle Munster in Luxembourg-Grund.

The presentation on “Update on the proposed April 2017 UK non-dom changes and the new UK disclosure facility" will be given by James Capper and Richard Morley of BDO LLP, London.

James Capper is a Senior Tax Manager at BDO LLP and advises international mobile clients from a UK perspective (specifically focussed on UK non-doms).

Richard Morley is a Tax Partner in BDO’s tax dispute resolution team and deals with all matters of disclosure to HMRC.

The presentation will provide an update on the proposed changes to the UK remittance basis regime from April 2017, potential planning opportunities and an overview of appropriate areas of consideration prior to April 2017.  The session will also include an update on the Common Reporting Standard and its implications for Private Clients in addition to background on the UK’s new disclosure facility and who it is available to.

TIMING: Meeting from 12:00, lunch will begin at 12;30 and the meeting will end at 14:00
