On Saturday 23 May 2026, the Luxembourg Tennis Federation’s (FLT) national interclub championship, the SEAT League, began its 2026 season in the Senior Women’s and Senior Men’s categories.
According to the FLT, the SEAT League is one of the flagship competitions on the national tennis calendar. In both the women’s and men’s competitions, eight teams compete in Nationale I and will contest the 2026 interclub championship title later this season.
In the men’s senior competition, Arquebusiers defeated Schifflange, Tennis Spora overcame Grevenmacher, Pétange won against Contern and Howald beat Esch.
Men’s Nationale I, Results Game Day 1:
Schifflange - Arquebusiers 1-11
Tennis Spora - Grevenmacher 11-1
Pétange - Contern 11-1
Howald - Esch 9-3
After the opening game day, Tennis Spora lead the standings on games difference ahead of Pétange and Arquebusiers, with all three teams collecting three points. Howald sit fourth with three points, while Esch, Schifflange, Contern and Grevenmacher are yet to register a point.
In the women’s senior competition, Tennis Spora defeated Schifflange, Pétange overcame Steinfort, Esch beat Grevenmacher and Arquebusiers recorded a dominant win against Howald.
Women’s Nationale I, Results Game Day 1:
Tennis Spora - Schifflange 8-0
Steinfort - Pétange 3-5
Esch - Grevenmacher 5-3
Howald - Arquebusiers 0-8
Following the opening round, Arquebusiers and Tennis Spora share first place with three points and identical match records, with Arquebusiers narrowly ahead on games difference. Pétange and Esch also opened the season with victories and occupy third and fourth positions respectively, both with two points
The finals, which will determine the winners of the 2026 SEAT League, are scheduled to take place on Saturday 11 July 2026 at TC Schifflange. In 2025, Tennis Spora won the women’s title, while TC Schifflange secured the men’s championship.
