Luxembourg’s short track skaters finished the 2016/2017 season on a high in Turnhout, with everyone grabbing a podium place in the last competition of the season.
Caroline Murphy took 1st and Anna Ruysschaert 3rd in the Junio C/B category. Peter Murphy took 2nd in the senior A/B mens, while Cecilia Backström was 3rd in the senior A/B ladies.
Together they also skated the 3000m relay finishing 2nd with strong support from trainer Grégory Durand.
The team will be making for the summer training camp in Oberstdorf at the end of July, but first they’re enjoying a well-earned two-week break.
