To celebrate the release of the second part of the Maze Runner trilogy, Utopis SA will be showing a 'The Maze Runner' marathon at both Utopolis Belval and Kirchberg on Monday 21 September 2015.

The Maze Runner film, based on a series of young-adult books by James Dashner set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia, created a furor amongst the youth demographic, establishing itself alongside the successes of other book-to-film adaptation series such as Twilight, the Hunger Games and Divergent.

The second installment, entitled 'Maze Runner: Scorch Trials', looks set to hit screens to just as much anticipation as its predecessor. Starring Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee and Giancarlo Esposito, the sequel follows Thomas and his fellow Gladers as they embark on a daring escape across a desolate wasteland, battling dangerous obstacles and betrayals.

'The Maze Runner' will be shown in its original version of English, with French and German subtitles, at 19:00, with the sequel shown at 21:30, at both Utopolis Kirchberg and Utopolis Belval.

Tickets for the marathon cost €13.80, or €12.30 at a reduced rate. These can be purchased either online as an E-ticket or directly at a cinema kiosk.
