The non-profit organisation Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg has announced the official opening of the 5th edition of the “Fair Fashion Days” on Saturday 27 September 2025 at 11:00 at the Centre culturel Kinneksbond in Mamer, as part of the “Rethink Your Clothes” campaign mandated by Luxembourg Cooperation.
The “Fair Fashion Days” will then run over two days, on Saturday and Sunday 27 and 28 September 2025, featuring exhibitor stands, inspiring creations, fun workshops and an escape game. The opening programme will include an address, an artistic performance by Luxembourgish artist Norah Noush and her dancers, and a socially engaged fashion show presenting the creations of responsible brands.
The NGO noted that, over the years, the “Fair Fashion Days” have become a key event in Luxembourg for those aspiring to a fairer and more sustainable fashion industry. It added that the event also aims to raise awareness of the challenges of fast fashion, from the exploitation of workers across the globe to the environmental strain linked to disposable clothing.
These “Fair Fashion Days” form part of the broader “Rethink Your Clothes” campaign, implemented by Fairtrade Lëtzebuerg. By combining exhibitions, activities and public engagement, the initiative seeks to promote fairer consumption habits and encourage more sustainable practices in the fashion industry.
