After inaugurating its store in Luxembourg-Gare on 10 May 2023, CFL Cactus shoppi is embarking on the second phase of its commercial offerings in the railway area by introducing "Snack O Quai", a network of vending machines in railway stations.
Established in 2022 through collaboration between CFL and Cactus, CFL Cactus shoppi is aiming to address the diverse demands of CFL customers for "ready-to-go" food. Since 30 October 2023, passengers at Luxembourg Station can use the "Snack O Quai" vending machines strategically placed on the CFL platforms.
Aligned with CFL Cactus shoppi's goal of reaching 85% of CFL customers with a varied commercial offering, "Snack O Quai" provides a selection of food items, including snacks and drinks, along with organic products. In support of CFL's "bicycle strategy," officially launched in March 2023 to enhance services and infrastructure for cyclist customers, bicycle repair kits are also available. Payments at "Snack O Quai" must be made via credit card. Customers can reach a helpline in case of issues at 366-480-300.
The “Snack O Quai” are also available in Dommeldange, Bettembourg, Schifflange, Esch-sur-Alzette and Belval-Université, installed on the platforms of the stations and railway stops which have the largest numbers of visitors on-site. Other vending machines will be installed by the end of November 2023 in Rodange, Mersch, Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg, Ettelbruck and Wasserbillig.
The 134 m² CFL cactus shoppi convenience store located in Luxembourg’s Central Station’s hall and will remain open from Monday to Friday from 05:30 to 21:30 and Saturday and Sunday from 06:00 to 21:30.
