Luxembourg's General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises has announced the removal of the annual subscription fee for 2021 for companies present on Letzshop.lu in light of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

In the context of the health crisis, the General Directorate decided at the end of March to cancel the 2020 annual subscription for companies on the Letzshop.lu online sales platform. The Luxembourg for Shopping economic interest group has now taken the decision to also cancel the 2021 annual subscription to the tune of €500 for shops present on Letzshop.lu, as well as for those who wish to join the online sales platform. The General Directorate will participate in the financing of the removal of these fees for the year 2021.

It has also been decided to continue to cap delivery costs at €2.99 for any standard national shipment.

Initiated by the General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, the Letzshop.lu online sales platform was launched in September 2018. It is managed by the Luxembourg for Shopping economic interest group, which brings together the General Directorate, the Chamber of Commerce, the Luxembourg Confederation of Commerce and eighteen municipalities. A wide range of merchants are present on the online sales platform and home delivery is possible, thus allowing consumers to benefit from the advantages of e-commerce while supporting local business.
