Cactus Supermarkets have announced that three of its stores, namely Cactus Windhof, Cactus Merl and Cactus Bonnevoie, remain closed due to an IT problem within the group's infrastructure.
The problem first occurred on Wednesday 29 April; they acknowledged that origin of the incident lies in a hacking incident. They also confirmed that credit card payments remain completely secure.
They reported that their IT engineers are actively working to quickly and promptly restore all systems, and hope that this incident has minimum impact on the provision and quality of services aprovided, thanking their customers for their understanding and patience in the event of inconvenience.
UPDATE Saturday 2 May: The three stores remain closed today.
