After the fire that broke out at in the workshop of Andy Schleck Cyles in Itzig on the night of 7 August, the bike shop will reopen on Monday 12 September.

The highly anticipated reopening will be accompanied by a special action until the end of September, when Andy Schleck Cycles is offering a reduction of 25% on all bikes in stock. Customers may also benefit from more than 10% discounts on accessories and all clothing from the new collection.

In the period between the fire and the reopening, many efforts were needed to restore the premises to a pristine state. The source of the fire was limited to the workshop, but the resulting smoke and soot caused considerable damage.

The entire building had to be emptied and, just six months after the initial opening, it was inevitable to redo all the paintwork. A specialised company took the full range of clothing and accessories, all goods had to be re-ordered, except for the bikes that have remained intact.

The store manager Jil Delvaux and the two associates, Jeannot Delvaux and Andy Schleck, are visibly happy to be able welcome, on Monday, new customers in the bike shop in Itzig, which incidentally is still willing to hire a salesperson. It is with relief and optimism they have placed new items on the shelves in recent days.

Followers of cycling will find everything they may desire. With all major brands represented - from Trek to Cervélo, Focus, Electra, Kalkhoff, Early Rider, Woom, through Bontrager, Craft, Assos and Castelli.
