Rugby Club (RC) Walferdange has announced that it is organising an Open Day on Saturday 21 September 2024 on the Walferdange rugby field (Rue de l'Alzette, Helmsange).
Open to everyone (all ages), this event is an opportunity to discover the sport, practise for the first time or simply to chat and find out more.
Programme
10:00-12:00: Rugby school (from 3-12 years old)
13:30: Juniors U16 match VS Rugby Collines - St Ghislain
15:00: Women's match VS Royal RC Visé
Barbecue food and drinks will be available on-site.
The club has also highlighted certain eco-responsible and sustainable commitments for the event, namely: promoting soft mobility or public transport; promoting active waste management by setting up sorting bins; limiting the generation of waste by using reusable tableware and by giving up individual portions when possible; supporting sustainable and local catering via organic and/or short-circuit products, and also offering vegetarian options.
