The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a laptop theft occurred at approximately 23:10 on Tuesday 29 July 2025 on Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes in Luxembourg City.
According to the police, officers were able to locate and stop the suspected perpetrator near Place Guillaume shortly after receiving the report. A search of the individual led to the discovery of a wallet and two mobile phones. Further investigations indicated that the suspect may have been involved in additional thefts earlier that evening.
Following an order from the public prosecutor, the individual was taken into custody and is scheduled to appear before an investigating judge on Tuesday afternoon, 30 July 2025.
The recovered stolen goods have been returned to their rightful owners.
