Four-piece Irish rock band The Strypes will be in Luxembourg on Thursday 15 October 2015, to deliver their frenzied rock reimagining and snarling Rhythm and Blues to the Grand Duchy.
The Strypes was forged in 2011 from a shared love of blues and R&B between lead vocalist and harmonica player, Ross Farrelly; lead guitarist and vocalist Josh MyClorey; bass guitarist and harmonica player Peter O'Hanlon; and drummer Evan Walsh.
Gigging around Ireland led to a breakthrough onto the UK music scene in 2012 and the release of their first studio alubm, 'Snapshot', in 2013. Now it is the turn of latest album 'Little Victories' to showcase itself to the world, featuring twin riffing, careering punk pop, Kinks-esque observations and whirring swamp rock.
The Strypes will be supported by Irish band The Mighty Stef. Tickets cost €22 and can be purchased at http://www.atelier.lu/Upcoming-Shows/The-Strypes
