Next Saturday, Selma Hadrovic-Schauls, a songwriter living in Luxembourg for almost 30 years, will release her new (3rd) album entitled "Just B with Selma" on Saturday 13 Juneat 20:00 at Neimënster in Luxembourg-Grund.
Accompanied by her friend, the singer Selma CIMIC, and many musicians, in her new album Selma meets the scents, colours and sounds of her homeland. Under the able leadership of Sergio Leite Rodrigues, the album "Just B with Selma" can be described as "world music". It combines instruments and genders at will, rooting them in Balkan rhythms. A total of 10 musicians will perform compositions by Selma.
As an artist looking for new inspiration and working on new projects all the time, Selma lives and breathes her music, both as her hobby and profession. She also combines it with the written word, using music as a basis for her writing.
