Both the Anglican Church of Luxembourg and the International English-Speaking Community of the Parish of Luxembourg Notre Dame are holding various services and events for Holy Week and Easter, which started with their respective Palm Sunday services on 2 April 2023.
Anglican Church of Luxembourg
On Maundy Thursday (6 April 2023), the Anglican Church of Luxembourg is organising a "Meal & Agape" event at the Vicarage in Bridel at 19:30.
The following day, on Good Friday (7 April 2023), the church is organising "Good Friday Reflections" at Konvikt Chapel in Luxembourg-Ville at 12:00.
Easter Sunday (9 April 2023) services will also take place at Konvikt Chapel, starting with BCP Holy Communion at 09:00, followed by an "Easter Day Breakfast" at 09:45 and concluding with Holy Communion for all ages at 10:30.
English-Speaking Community of the Parish of Luxembourg Notre Dame
On Wednesday 5 April 2023, there will be a Chrism Mass (not in English) at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Luxembourg-Ville at 18:30. There will be no English-speaking evening Mass at St Alphonse Church.
On Holy Thursday (6 April 2023), the English-Speaking Community of the Parish of Luxembourg Notre Dame will hold a "Mass of the Last Supper" at Eglise St Pie X in Luxembourg-Belair at 20:30.
On Good Friday (7 April 2023), the community will hold a "Celebration of the Lord's Passion" at Eglise St Michel in Luxembourg-Ville at 15:00.
On Holy Saturday (8 April 2023), there will be a blessing of Easter baskets with a morning prayer session at Eglise St Michel at 11:00. That evening, there will be an "Easter Vigil of the Resurrection" at Eglise St Pie X at 20:30. There will be no evening
Mass at St Alphonse Church.
On Easter Sunday (9 April 2023), the community will hold a Mass at Eglise St Pie X at 11:00 and another Mass at Eglise St Michel at 18:30.
