
The Danish Church in Luxembourg has announced that it is holding a Constitution Day celebration at the cultural centre in Medingen on Thursday 5 June 2025, starting at 18:00.
The celebration includes a shared meal and remarks by guest speaker, Niels Fenger, an EU judge from Denmark. The event will conclude after the Constitution Day speech with coffee and cake.
On the menu is salmon rolls with herb cream, Danish meat patties ("karbonader") with potatoes, peas and carrots. Two types of cake will be served with the coffee.
The event is being organised by the Danish Church, together with the Danish Club of Luxembourg; it is open to members free of charge and costs €15 for non-members.

Constitution Day is observed in Denmark each year on 5 June. The day honours the Constitution of Denmark - both the first constitution of 1849 and the current constitution of 1953 were signed on 5 June those years.
