On Sunday 21 June 2026, the Anglican Church in Luxembourg held a service of baptism at the Konvikt Centre on Avenue Marie-Thérèse in Luxembourg city centre.

A total of nine people, both young and old, were confirmed during the service was led by The Right Reverend Alison White, Honorary Assistant Bishop of the Diocese in Europe who had travelled from England for the occasion. She was assisted by Revd Canon Geoff Read (Chaplain), Revd Alison Heal, Father Martin Calderbank and Revd Joy Van Staalduinen (Youth Pastor).

In her sermon, The Right Reverend Alison White talked about this day being one to remember, asking everyone to think about how they will remember it.

One communion candidate was also baptised beforehand. After the confirmation, families of those confirmed were invited to join them for communion, followed by the rest of the congregation.

Music was provided by the choir accompanied by the organ, as well as a second choir accompanied by an African drum.

After the service, drinks and cake were served in the side chapel.

Talking with Chronicle.lu, Revd Alison Heal stated: "Today we have celebrated the public declaration of faith of some beloved members of our All Saints community. Bishop Alison baptised one candidate, confirmed adults and teenagers, and heard some younger members reaffirm their baptismal vows. The Bishop reminded us that Jesus Christ calls us to make a positive difference in Luxembourg and in the world. Today our candidates promised to do just that, in the power of the Holy Spirit".
