On Sunday 12 November 2017, the Anglican Church in Luxembourg held its annual Remembrance Day Service at the Konvikt Centre in Luxembourg-ville.

The annual commemoration of Remembrance Day is held to give thanks for the sacrifice of so many men and women in the wars of the last century, as well as praying for peace and reconciliation.

The British Ambassador HE John Marshall, and the German Ambassador HE Dr Heinrich Kreft both read passages from the Bible during the service. Other dignataries in attendance included the Ambassador of Belgium, Jean-Louis Six, the Ambassador of Ireland, Peadar Carpenter) and the Acting Deputy Chief of Mission of the United States embbassy, Kristi Roberts, who all be present to lay wreaths at the altar, as did representatives of the Ville de Luxembourg, the Armed Forces, the Western Front Association and the Scouts, Guides and Brownies.
