St George’s International School, Luxembourg ASBL will host their first ‘Freshers and Followers’ welcome event this Saturday 19 September from 12:00 until 15:00.
The purpose of this event is to welcome new starters to the school and to Luxembourg by offering them useful information on clubs, associations, services and activities that Luxembourg has to offer. The event also welcomes existing families as they will also benefit from the information offered such as Yoga, Fitness, Charities, Various Sports, Arts Extra-curricular Activites and much more...
This is also a great social opportunity for new families to meet existing families which will help them settle in quicker.
Amongst other forms of entertainment there will be a bouncy castle and games for the students to have some fun, food in the form of a BBQ and refreshments will also be offered.
This event is organised by the Friends of St George’s which exists primarily as a social and networking group and endeavours to organise regular social events, enhance parent and community integration and enable fundraising. All staff and families of the school are automatically members of the Friends of St George’s and can become actively involved by coming forward to volunteer for any activity or to be a member of the core committee.
St George’s International School Luxembourg is located in Luxembourg-Hamm and caters to approximately 700 students, with 230 in the Secondary school.
