Cactus supermarket today announced the results of its collaboration with Lycée Aline Mayrisch on a marketing project, aimed at teaching students the needs of the private sector, whilst helping young people realise a project from start to finish.

For the second joint participation initiative between the two parties, teacher Séverine Bauer gave the eleven pupils of the Class Two art section the task of creating a graphical charter comprising logo, packaging and posters, based on a marketing debrief given by Cactus.

The aim was to offer students the chance to go beyong purely theoretical work and instead develop a concrete project, witnessing the evolution of their planning into action and their idea into something tangible. The conclusion of the final product consisted of a Powerpoint presentation and discussion with professionals in the industry, after which three of the best projects were selected.

Cactus and its communication and advertising agency, Createam, stated that the direct cooperation with the management, teachers and pupils at the high school was a rewarding experience for the supermarket, and the initiative was deemed a success.
