Tower Training has announced that the May 2016 Power Lunch is being held on Friday 27 May at 12:00 - 14:00 at the NH Hotel in Luxembourg-Findel, with Carl Reader talking about "The Power of Tomorrow".

The aim of the Power Lunch is to bring together members of the international business community in Luxembourg and to foster a network of business relationships of mutual interest whilst having the opportunity to increase your work related knowledge and skills.

Carl will be speaking about the future of business on how things are changing and whats on the horizon for us all as managers, leaders, business owners and consumers.

Carl is one of the most enthusiastic and passionate accountants in the UK. A regular speaker, he thrives on putting entrepreneurs in control of their finances, and opening their minds about what they can achieve within their businesses. He has spoken to several thousand business owners across the UK, and regularly writes for many leading magazines and trade journals. He is also the author of The Startup Coach, published by Hodder in February 2015.

Starting as a YTS trainee hairdresser at the age of 16, he now heads up the strategic direction and vision at d&t, and is proud of taking d&t from it’s roots of being a local firm to being the number one firm in the franchising and tuition markets, and award winners in the British Accountancy Awards 2013 and the 2020 Innovations Awards 2014, during his time there. He has also developed the firms client base, which now boasts household names such as Dyno, Snack in the Box, Right at Home, and Stagecoach Theatre Arts, and has taken the firm into the ‘Ones to Watch’ list compiled annually by Accountancy Age.

He has been recognised by Accountancy Age as one of the ’35 under 35′ in 2013, and is the first (and currently only) practicing accountant in the country to achieve the British Franchise Association’s QFP award. He is also now regularly featured / cited in the accountancy press (including Accountancy Age, Economia and Accounting & Business) in respect of how innovative firms such as his own can continue to grow and develop.
