On Tuesday 16 February 2016, Luxembourg Minister of Health, Lydia Mutsch, received the Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Trier, Klaus Jensen.
Former mayor of Trier and former Secretary of State and Deputy Minister of Labour, Social Affairs and Health in Rhineland-Palatinate, Mr. Jensen has been representing the economic and financial interests of the Grand Duchy in Trier as Honorary Consul since September 2015, after succeeding Franz Peter Basten.
During the meeting, Minister Mutsch and Mr. Jensen exchanged views on interregional cooperation in the field of health, possible synergies between Luxembourg and German hospitals, the 'Luxembourg Medical School' and the potential of personalised medicine.
