On Wednesday late afternoon, the British Prime Minister David Cameron flew into Luxembourg to talk with Xavier Bettel, Luxembourg's Prime Minister.
Camera flashes from an unusually large press presence greeted the British Prime Minister as he exited his car which had ferried him from the airport, at the Hotel de Bourgogne in the government quarter of Luxembourg city. The official party also included the British Ambassador to Luxembourg, Alice Walpole.
PM Cameron was in Luxembourg to talk with PM Bettel to discuss a number of issues, including priorities of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the second half of 2015 and Britain's position in Europe, as well as bilateral relations, and matters in Europe and further afield.
