The Ville de Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) have announced details of public viewings within the context of the 2014 World Cup as well as the projection of films for children and the general public on Place Guillaume II.
From 12 June to 13 July, football games and films are scheduled every day except around the National Day (20 - 23 June) and 5 and 6 July which will feature the Me You Zik and Rock um Knuedler music festivals in the city centre. From 8 July for the semi-finals, before each match the LCTO is organising a warm-up with DJs, and on 13 July the programme will conclude with a children's film (15:00) and a mainstream film (17:00), the warm-up and the final which kicks off at 21:00.
