A new cookery lesson initiative, Kachatelier by Miele, has been launched by Cactus based on the concept of active-cooking.
Based at the Windhof Cactus headquarters, on the first floor - accessed through the underground parking - a purpose-built kitchen for cookery lessons with individual kitchen islands for participants was unveiled on Thursday for the first lesson to take place on 3 April. Participants will receive instructions and industry tips from professional chefs whilst actively participating in creating their own meals.
Cactus has joined forces with partners which share their values in excellence and quality, including the main partner Miele, known and recognised for the quality of their electronic cooking appliances. All meals will be cooked using the new generation PureLine products from Miele. The other partners include RAK, WMF, KitchenAid and Küchenprofi who will supply the relevant kitchen accessories.
The inauguration meal on 3 April for the first lesson will have an Easter theme and will be followed by a variety of others including Portuguese and Italian cuisine. There will also be some product-specific cookery lessons focusing on, amongst others, organic products and beef. Each of the cookery lessons will end with the participants being able to sample their creations in a dining set-up. Additionally, some classes are being tailored for children during school holidays. The seven-series cookery lessons will continue until mid-July.
Registrations to the Kachatelier by Miele cookery classes can be made online at www.cactus.lu. Prices will vary according to the proposed menus.
