The Municipality of Kayl is organising a Medieval Buergbrennen this Saturday 8 March at the Alexandraschoul in Tétange.
The 8th annual historical version of the tradition that dates from pagan times to see out the winter and welcome in the spring, starts at 11:30, with a traditional BBQ from 12:00. The bonfire is lit at 18:30 and the cortege (procession) starts at 19:00.
Many locals dress up in medieval garb for the occasion.
