Husky Injection Molding Systems and SOS Villages are celebrating ten years of being partners, and having raised a total of €155.358.
During this anniversary year, several activities, such as the traditional ING Night Marathon Luxembourg, raised €23.102. This sum will be contributed to a programme focusing on child protection- for 900 children and their 250 families, in Labé in Guinea.
The partnership between the Luxembourgish branch Husky and SOS began in 2007 when the former decided to join the latter’s cause to help children in Africa.
In 2016, Husky helped support 900 children in Guinea. For instance, in this year’s marathon, 81 runners took part and raised €15,000. Other activities, including the association’s two Sweet & Salt Cake Days and a collection fund organised on Family Guy, raised a further €23,101.80. All will be put towards the Support Programme for Families in Labé, Guinea.
