On Monday 29 August, a truck overturned on the A3 motorway at the Croix de Gasperich close to the A6.
The accident happened shortly after 11:15 when the truck tipped over, coming to a rest partly on the barriers at the side of the motorway.
The driver suffered what were described as minor injuries; however, the front-seat passenger was trapped by the wreckage and needed the specialist assistance of the emergency services before they were freed from the overturned vehicle.
A number of cranes were required to raise the truck to get it back on its wheels. During the rescue and clean-up operation, traffic was diverted.
