The Science Fiction & Fantasy Society Luxembourg is organising the 3rd edition of LuxCon, Luxembourg's event on Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Convention, is to be held on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April 2016, from 10:00 both days, at the Centre Culturel Schungfabrik in Tétange.
The event, organised by the Science Fiction & Fantasy Society Luxembourg is a convention, based on the English-speaking world’s model, which aims to give the opportunity to fans, geeks and nerds to celebrate their favourite books, shows, games, movies, etc. in the realms of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror.
This year the presence of Tommy Krappweis (Inventor of Bernd das Brot, author of Mara und der Feuerbringer among others), world class science fiction and fantasy writer, award-winning Ian McDonald, among many other local, regional and international guests, as well as increased space and programming size should prove attractive to the public.
In 2015 over 2,700 young and young-of-mind people found their way to the convention.
