Zulu Blanc, the focus of a recent shareholder recruitment campaign, will be holding its official opening on Thursday 24 September 2015.
In April 2015, 1COM Group, consisting of Ikki, Le Sud, Aka Cité, Brauerei and Rock Box, opened up ownership of Zulu Blanc in the Rives of Clausen, allowing anybody and everybody to become a shareholder. Launched on its website, the bar received over 200 applications in a mere few weeks.
4000 units in total were made available to purchase at €65 a share, or €37.50 for those who acquired shares before 30 July 2015. Buyers could invest in a minimum of 3 shares or a maximum of 134 shares per person.
Zulu Blanc will now be opened to the public wishing to experience the African masks, statues, pottery, accessories and handicrafts from South Africa and dance to house music. The official opening will start at 18:00 on 24 September, where guests will be offered an open bar and free finger food.
