This weekend, the third edition of the Make-A-Wish Concours d'Elégance and Luxembourg Classic Days will take place in Mondorf-les-Bains.

On Friday 28 August 2015, the Grand Tour at Casino2000 will present a tour of the classic cars in this year's exhibition, and will be followed by a dinner for 270 guests.

Then on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2015, international collectors, experienced drivers and other car enthusiasts will convene at the Parc Domaine Thermal to admire the collection of classic cars on display.

The event was first started in 2013, and last year's edition drew in around 6000 visitors to view the 120 cars and 20 motorcycles in the exhibition.

This year, highlights will include the Cavallino Classico, an annual tribute to Ferrari from Francorchamps Motors-Luxembourg and Ferrari Club Luxembourg; the celebration of '65 joër Porsche Lëtzebuerg' together with Porsche Zenter Luxembourg, Porsche Classic Club Luxembourg & Porsche Club Luxembourg; recognition of '80 years of Jaguar' with Jaguar Luxembourg and the British Sports Car Owners Club Luxembourg ASBL and Amicale ASBL; as well as a tribute to a great American icon organised with Indian Friends.

A jury will also award prizes in various automobile and motorcycle age categories, which last year included Best Coupé, Cabriole and Limousine, as well as Best of Show 2014.

As ever, all proceeds raised at the event will be donated to thr Luxembourg Make-A-Wish foundation, a non-profit organisation which seeks to grant the wishes of children between 3 and 18 years old who are facing life-threatening medical conditions.
