Cactus supermarkets and Ville de Luxembourg today unveiled the GoBike, a new environmentally-friendly mobility alternative for carrying groceries.
The Ville de Luxembourg recently implemented the new ecological mobility service which represents a new concept for Luxembourg City but has already gained a lot of success worldwide. The transport allows anybody, whether a citizen, walker, tourist, business person or individual with reduced mobility to take an electrically-run bike taxi which is 100% ecological.
In order to allow cutomers to discover the new means of locomotion, the Cactus supermarkets of Luxembourg City have planned roadshows where the GoBikes will be presented and made available to Cactus clients. The new form of transport aims to provide a relaxing lift home whilst avoiding traffic jams and carrying shopping bags, stored in the GoBike's trunk.
Information booths will be installed to inform interested parties of the nex concept and distribute flyers. The roadshows will be present at the following Cactus stores:
- Bonnevoie, Tuesday 4 and Thursday 6 August 2015.
- Luxembourg-Gare, Monday 10 August and Wednesday 12 August 2015.
- Merl, Tuesday 18 August and Thursday 20 August 2015.
- Limpertsberg, Tuesday 25 August and Thursday 27 August 2015.
