Last year, a French-Colombian couple resident in Luxembourg started operating an import-export business focusing on top quality juices made from fruit from Colombia and destined for the European market.
The TUKI Colombian Premium Juices come in a range of single fruit juices harvested directly in Colombia. Combining both nutritional benefits and savoury tastes, the TUKI juices include Guanábana, Lulo, Mango, Maracuyá (passion fruit) and Mora (Andean blackberry) exotic flavours from Colombia that are almost unknown in Europe.
TUKI’s creators, Angela Sontag (Colombian) and Harald-Sven Sontag (French-Colombian), attach great importance to the quality of its juices which can be observed at each step of the production. From the selection of the fruit grown in various regions of Colombia, to importation into Europe and then the bottling process, the company is committed to provide its consumers the best of Colombian fruits as "homemade".
Thanks to the High Pressure process employed at the production plant in The Netherlands, which eliminates bacteria under high pressure without heating the juice, the fresh and natural taste is preserved, as well as the vitamins and nutritional values of the fruit. Without any colouring or preservative, those juices benefit from the homemade quality of a freshly squeezed juice.
In Luxembourg, the TUKI fruit juices are sold via the network of Cactus supermarkets and are available online from www.tukifruits.com. The next phase of the project is to introduce them into other markets including France, Germany and the UK, with the aim of becoming the reference company in the distribution of Premium exotic fruit juices from Colombia
The creators of TUKI are already considering adding a brand new flavour to its range of juices, in view of the numerous requests from gourmet consumers.
