Luxembourg's Public Roads Administration has announced that the A6 motorway between Helfenterbruck interchange and the Cessange crossing will be closed in both directions from Saturday 14 May 2022 around 22:00 until Sunday 15 May 2022 around 08:00.

During the weekend, the Sotel Réseau & Cie will carry out the removal of high voltage overhead cables on this section of A6 motorway.

The following barriers will be put in place during the aforementioned time:

  • The A6 motorway in both directions between the Helfenterbruck interchange and the Cessange cross;
  • The access ramp to the Helfenterbruck interchange towards the Cessang cross;
  • The ramp of the A4 motorway towards Hollerich and in the direction of the Gasperich cross;
  • The slip road of the A4 motorway towards Hollerich and in the direction of Arlon;
  • The slip road of the A4 motorway towards Raemerich and in the direction of Arlon.

The traffic coming from the A6 motorway and the A4 motorway in direction of Arlon will be diverted from the Cessange, A4, N56, N4, N5A, N5 and Helfenterbruck junctions to return on the A6 motorway.

The traffic in the direction of the A6 motorway and in the direction of Gasperich is diverted from the Helfenterbruck interchange via the N34, the N5, the N51, the N4, the N56A, the A4 and the Cessange crossing onto the A6 motorway.

The traffic on the A4 motorway to Hollerich and in the direction of the Gasperich crossing will be diverted from the Cessange crossing, the A4, the N56, the N56A, the A4 and the Cessange crossing.

The traffic on the A4 motorway to Raemerich and in the direction of Arlon will be diverted from the Cessange crossing, the A6, the Gasperich crossing, the A3, the Gluck roundabout, the A3, the Gasperich crossing, the A6, the Cessange crossing, the A4, the N56, the N4, the N5A, the N5 and the Helfenterbruck interchange.
