From Friday 14 to Sunday 16 November 2025, Luxexpo The Box in Luxembourg-Kirchberg hosted the 25th edition of the International Motor Show Luxembourg, a popular meeting place for car and motorcycle enthusiasts as well as the general public.

Visitors were able to discover the latest production cars, sports cars, luxury models and classics; motorcycles from all disciplines, ranging from timeless machines to the most innovative designs; the world of motorsport, with racing cars, drivers and clubs; mobility solutions and new energy technologies, along with various live shows, demonstrations and themed exhibitions.

On Saturday 15 November 2025, the programme included continuous demonstrations at the GridX Motor Show Arena, featuring performances by the Falken Drift Team and freestyle bikers from Freerid’Aire, whose jumps and displays drew strong reactions from spectators.

As part of this year’s programme, ACL organised the launch of the Race X - ACL Champions Edition, a new time-trial competition in which 24 Luxembourg drivers competed in LifeLive Cross Cars.

Speaking to Chronicle.lu, ACL Sport Director Florian Brouir noted: “We had twelve cars in exhibition, all of them from our national champions or Luxembourgish drivers racing at international level; we had all kinds of disciplines, from dragster to karting, through circuit, rallying and hillclimb racing. We also organised the first ‘Race X - ACL Champions Edition’, which is a race on cross cars. In gymkhana style, the drivers had to complete a lap as fast as possible, without making a mistake.” He added: “The Race X offered a great scene for our drivers. There are lots of spectators who might not be aware of the Luxembourgish motorsport scene. So the drivers offer a great show to the public and for the organisation, and at the same time they have the possibility to show their talent in front of the crowd.”

Following the qualifying runs, the six fastest competitors advanced to the Final, with the overall winner earning the opportunity to challenge 2024 FIA World Rally Champion Thierry Neuville. The competition ultimately went to 19-year-old slalom driver Justin Flammang, who finished ahead of NASCAR Euro Series driver Gil Linster and Luxembourg rally champion Marijan Griebel. Flammang also recorded a faster lap than the benchmark time set by Neuville on Friday afternoon and received several trophies presented by the Automobile Club of Luxembourg.

“My preparations were pretty simple, I mean I didn’t really prepare for anything, I just came here. I actually just wanted to have fun, didn’t really expect to win the whole thing, so yeah, very exciting,” Justin Flammang stated to Chronicle.lu.

The tuning section also returned with a dedicated exhibition, attracting a large audience throughout the weekend. An Audi TT “Carbone” was awarded “Best of Show”, while the public vote went to a Chevrolet Belair.

“It is worth mentioning a very large attendance on Sunday, but also throughout the weekend,” commented Jean-François Elst, Commercial Director of Pole Position. “Everything went smoothly, with improved stand quality and more extensive shows than in previous years.”

The next edition of the International Motor Show Luxembourg is scheduled for 2027.
