The City of Luxembourg has announced a new temporary timetable for its AVL city bus network, with effect from Monday 28 December 2020.

The changes follow the Luxembourg government's announcement of new measures in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

More specifically, the frequency of certain bus lines will be adapted as follows:

- lines 8, 11 and 30 will run on Saturdays every 30 minutes rather than every 20 minutes;
- line 12 will run Monday to Saturday every 30 rather than 20 minutes;
- line 15 will run Monday to Friday every 30 rather than 20 minutes;
- line 17 will run at a reduced frequency (every 20 minutes) between 09:00 and 15:30 and after 19:15; it will follow its normal schedule for the rest of the day. The line is suspended on Saturdays;
- line 18 will run Monday to Friday every 10 minutes rather than every 7-8 minutes;
- line 19 will run Monday to Friday at a reduced frequency (every 30 rather than 20 minutes). The line is suspended on Saturdays;
- line 20 will run Monday to Friday every 15 minutes at peak times (07:30 - 09:00 and 16:30 - 18:30) and every 20 minutes the rest of the day (compared to every 10 and 15 minutes normally);
- line 22 will run Monday to Friday every 10 minutes during peak hours and every 15 minutes the rest of the day (compared to every 10 minutes normally);
- line 26 will run Monday to Friday continuously every 20 minutes; there will be no increased frequency during peak hours;
- line 31 is suspended on Saturdays;
- the City Shopping Bus is suspended until further notice.

It is recalled that wearing a protective mask is compulsory for travellers in public transport.
