The Government Council adopted the bill amending the amended law of 17 July 2020 on COVID-19 measures in Luxembourg. This bill aims to maintain minimum measures in force until the end of March 2023 while retaining the option of revising the law quickly in the event of the emergence of a more pathogenic variant.

The following changes are foreseen:

• infected individuals will no longer have to isolate at home;
• systematic contact tracing will come to an end.
