On Friday 25 February 2022, Luxembourg's Ministry of Health announced that COVID-19 vaccination will be available in pharmacies from Saturday 26 February 2022.
Anyone aged twelve and over can make an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccination at the various participating pharmacies without waiting for the postal invitation. The type of vaccination offered is the primary vaccination and the booster dose.

The vaccines available in pharmacies are messenger RNA and Janssen vaccines.
For children aged between 5 and 11 years, COVID-19 vaccination is only done in a vaccination centre or in a paediatric office.
