The Grand Ducal Police have issued a call for witnesses following a hit-and-run road accident between Steinsel and Kopstal on Wednesday 9 September 2026.
According to the police, the accident occurred shortly before 08:00 on Rue des Champs and involved a white BMW and a dark-coloured SUV.
Initial information stated that the dark SUV struck and damaged the white BMW 1 Series while passing it. The SUV driver reportedly continued driving without stopping or attending to the damage caused.
The police are asking the driver involved, as well as anyone with relevant information about the accident, to contact the Capellen police station on tel: 244-301-000 or via email: police.capellensteinfort@police.etat.lu.
