On Tuesday 16 May 2017, the very first Luxembourg wedding directory Mariages.lu was born.
Last month saw the creation of Luxembourg’s first ever wedding directory, Mariages.lu, a 100% Luxemburgish creation that already possesses the "Made in Luxembourg" label.
The project came from the fact that brides and grooms today can be very busy and do not always have time to look for the right wedding providers.
Whilst word-of-mouth still works well in the country, it can be restricted in this time of increased demand in the digital era. Mariages.lu thus facilitates this first stage, which is essential at the beginning of wedding preparations.
The site features the addresses of professionals from the caterer to the decorator or the jeweller from Luxembourg and its border regions. Couples can make choices based on their desires and budget.
As well as providing addresses, the directory also proposes tools and ideas that may help the couple to organise their wedding, along with inspirations for honeymoon destinations and music suggestions.
Over time, the site will add even more options, and thus offer more and more tips to the bride and groom, helping them plan their big day.
