The Organisation of World Heritage Cities (OHWC) is holding an international video production competition titled “My City, Our World Heritage”, open to people 14 to 21 years of age.
Luxembourg, whose fortress and old town have been on Unesco’s World Heritage List since 1994, is part of the competition. Participants are invited to send a YouTube link of their video of Luxembourg city to videopatrimoine2017@vdl.lu between 16 June and 31 July, including details of their name, email and address.
The videos, with a maximum duration of 5 minutes, will be evaluated by the OWHC according to three criteria of production quality, processing and originality/creativity.
First prize in the 14 to 17 age category is $1,000 (€915, and in the 18 to 21 age category, $2,000 (€1,830).
The winning videos will also be broadcast on the OWHC website and shown at the OWHC World Congress in Gyeongju City, South Korea from 31 October to 3 November 2017.
