As part of the celebrations for this year's national holiday on 23 June, the City of Luxembourg has for the first time opened up the holiday-eve torchlit procession to individuals.
Those wishing to join the official procession departing at the Puits Rouge, passing by rue du Fossé, rue Notre-Dame and boulevard Roosevelt, and then proceeding past the Grand-Ducal grandstand on 22 June are asked to register by 31 May, by sending an e-mail including their first and last names to the Service des fêtes et marchés: sfm@vdl.lu.
A maximum of 300 individuals may participate in the parade, and applications will be processed chronologically.
