The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce has announced the publication of its new practical guide on attracting and retaining young talent.
The Generation Z: How to attract, integrate and retain young talents practical guide is aimed at companies "wishing to understand and attract" "GenZ" talent.
"Hyperconnected, with a strong environmental conscience and having a unique relationship with work, young people from Generation Z are forcing companies to reinvent their approaches, both in terms of organisation and recruitment," noted the Chamber of Commerce. "The guide explores in depth the ways to take advantage of the talents of this generation and also highlights the importance of training and modern management, better aligned with the expectations of 'GenZ'."
Attracting young talent is considered particularly important in "a context of skills shortages and rapid job changes, exacerbated by crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the environmental crisis and the emergence of artificial intelligence".
The new practical guide offers HR managers, managers and business leaders concrete solutions and practical tools to attract and retain young people from this generation. Emphasis is placed in particular on "developing attractive recruitment methods, training competent managers to lead multigenerational teams and the importance of training to shape tomorrow's talents".
The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce is also launching an awareness campaign at the end of September and in October 2024 to promote its WinWin initiative, designed to promote intergenerational collaboration and the integration of young talent in companies through apprenticeships.
The practical guide is available in French and in English. It can be downloaded or ordered online.
