Price of Propane & LPG Increases in Luxembourg, Other Fuels Unchanged

Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in the price of propane and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

As of Friday 11 September 2026, the price of propane has increased by 5.40 cents to 79.2 cents per litre (including VAT) and the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas has increased by 3.90 cents to 81.8 cents per litre (including VAT).

The price for unleaded 95 octane petrol remains at €1.840 per litre (including VAT) and the price of unleaded 98 octane petrol is stable at €2.030 per litre (including VAT). Diesel is unchanged at €2.024 per litre (including VAT).

The price for heating oil remains at €1.510 per litre (including VAT) and the cost for diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural is stable at €1.628 and 1.475 per litre (including VAT) respectively.

Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
