UNICEF Luxembourg has announced that the UNICEF City Run will take place on Saturday 4 July 2026 in the Pétrusse Valley in Luxembourg-Grund, starting at 12:00.
Open to everyone, the charity event invites participants to run or walk at their own pace on an approximately 1.3 km course, with no ranking or timekeeping.
According to the organisers, each participant will receive a personalised fundraising page that can be shared with family, friends and colleagues, enabling them to raise funds in support of UNICEF's work for children.
The event will also feature children's activities, food trucks, live music and entertainment throughout the day. The site will open at 10:30, with activities running from 12:00 to 15:00.
Sandra Visscher, Executive Director of UNICEF Luxembourg, said: "The UNICEF City Run is a wonderful opportunity to come together around a cause that concerns us all: the rights and well-being of children. Whether participants complete one lap or many, every step helps mobilise support for children."
Registration is now open via the UNICEF City Run website.
