The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has announced that ticket pre-sales have opened for guided tours of the Grand Ducal Palace, which will take place from Saturday 18 July to Sunday 30 August 2026.

The annual tours will once again give visitors the opportunity to explore one of Luxembourg's most emblematic buildings, including its reception salons, richly decorated rooms and historic corridors, which are normally reserved for heads of state and official events.

The LCTO will organise up to ten guided tours each day in several languages. The approximately 75-minute tours will introduce visitors to the Palace's history, architecture and the role of the Grand Ducal Family. Groups will meet at the LCTO information office on Place Guillaume II before walking together to the Palace.

As in previous years, the majority of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie Foundation. Established following the change of reign in 2025, the foundation supports disadvantaged people, promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities and encourages artistic creation, with a particular focus on people in need in Luxembourg.

Tickets are available online at luxembourg-city.com and at the LCTO reception office located on the Knuedler. Due to high demand, advance booking is recommended. Tickets cost €18 for adults and €9 for children aged four to twelve, while admission is free for children under the age of four, although a ticket is still required. Visitors with specific needs should contact the LCTO before purchasing tickets.

For security reasons, visitors will undergo a security check before entering the Palace. Bags and luggage are not permitted inside, photography is prohibited, and visitors may not bring food or drinks. Pushchairs must be left at the entrance, although babies may be carried during the tour. Only assistance dogs are permitted.
