Luxembourg's Ministry of Housing has announced the launch of a new public housing portal: Logement.lu.

The ministry's website www.logement.lu is aimed at all interested parties and those involved in the housing sector in Luxembourg.

Developed by the Government IT Centre (CTIE) in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER), the website is designed to strengthen the visibility of financial aid for tenants and owners. It also explains the steps and procedures to follow in order to benefit from such aid. Many publications from the housing ministry can also be downloaded here.

For municipalities, there are explanations on the instruments and tools made available by the State to support them in the creation of affordable housing, such as the Housing Pact 2.0, building aid or the specifications to be applied for State-subsidised housing. The website is also an information platform on housing legislation.

Moreover, Logement.lu now hosts the Housing Observatory, which is the service of the Ministry of Housing created in 2003 and whose work is carried out in collaboration with LISER. All the research and publications of the Housing Observatory are an integral part of the housing portal and are directly accessible at www.logement.lu/observatoire.
