Fondation IDEA will present its analysis and recommendations for housing in Luxembourg on 18 January 2017 at the Chamber of Commerce.
In the coming weeks, Fondation IDEA will present its thoughts and suggestions on two aspects of the housing issue in Luxembourg: ingoing inventories and under-occupation, vacant accommodation, shared accommodation and other residencies.
The presentation of these ideas will be done in front of François Peltier, who is head of the STATEC unit "Population and Housing” and who will also deal with the issue of housing needs in accordance with past and future demographic changes.
Other issues to be discussed at this meeting include changing prices as described by demographic, sociological and economic changes, housing policies, predictions for the need for new accommodation in the future, and ways of better occupying existing accommodation.
