Gregor Huebner always had a passion for Latin music. He has been a member of tango groups, jazz formations and much more. His excellent violin performances can be heard on many albums, including solo projects. Gregor’s first recording project under the name “El Violin Latino” was released in 2011 to rave reviews in Europe as well as the USA in publications including the Wall Street Journal. Last March, Gregor and his Quartet released the second album of “El Violin Latino-No.2” during a two-week European Tour in Germany and Luxembourg, then in April in New York City at the Garage Series and at the German House. Huebner´s recipe for success is: “Absorb everything you experience, and then concentrate on the things that interest you. But never deny where you came from.” Thus his own roots and personal experiences play a central role in his music and in his playing. Born and raised in Germany, Gregor has been residing in New York City for several years.
