American jazz saxophonist Joshua Redman will be joining the Reis-Demuth-Wiltgen trio for a special concert on Saturday 26 March 2016 as part of the Printemps Musical festival.
Pianist Michel Reis, bassist Marc Demuth and drummer Paul Wiltgen have made a name for themselves amongst audiences and critics alike since the release of their eponymous first album on the label 'Laborie Jazz', the result of a collaborative composition between the three musicians aiming to blend popular music and modern jazz.
The group will now be joined on stage at the Printemps Musical festival by twice Grammy-nominated musician Joshua Redman. The California-born composer made his debut as a fresh signing to the Warner Bros record label with his 1993 self-titled album and has recorded and performed with a long list of musical icons that includes Quiny Jones, BB King, the Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder.
The four musicians will be performing at 20:00 at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg. Tickets cost 25€ at standard rate Category 1, 20€ standard rate Category 2, and 10€ standard rate Category 3. To purchase tickets, click here or for more information visit www.lcto.lu.
