The Sang&Klang concert venue in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal (1 rue des Trois Glands) is hosting a concert featuring Super Chikan from the USA on Friday 18 March 2016 from 20:30, organised by the Blues Club Lëtzebuerg.
Super Chikan, whose real name is James Johnson, is a supporter of the harsh, almost brutal electrified delta blues. The former farmer and truck driver plays his blues straightforward and full of energy - just like like his uncle Big Jack Johnson. Although Super Chikan mostly tours in his home area Clarksdale / MS, he sometimes makes detours to Japan, Canada, Mexico and Europe, where he is a welcome guest at many music festivals. His 2016 tour takes him for the first time to Luxembourg and his concert in Sang a Klang will undoubtedly be a highlight of the upcoming season!
